About this camp

The FIRST Lego League Summer Camp at Broomfield STEM offers an immersive experience for students new to FLL or who haven't competed in the 2025-2026 Unearthed Season. Participants engage in hands-on activities that foster research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering skills. Students will build and program LEGO® robots to complete various missions, mirroring the friendly competition at the heart of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge. The camp also incorporates Innovation Spark projects, encouraging students to identify and address real-world problems. For younger campers (grades 2-3), the FLL Explore Camp focuses on exploration and cooperation, with activities centered around learning about archeology and ancient civilizations through LEGO model building and programming. The camp is guided by experienced Broomfield Robotics Club FLL mentors and FIRST Tech Challenge students, providing a supportive and enriching learning environment.
