Play-Well TEKnologies provides an immersive, project-based learning environment with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts and a curriculum designed by engineers to teach fundamental engineering principles through play.
Play-Well TEKnologies LEGO Engineering Camps offer children a hands-on, project-based learning experience where they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. Utilizing tens of thousands of LEGO® bricks, campers engage in designing and building elaborate objects, structures, and vehicles. The curriculum, developed by engineers, focuses on enhancing problem-solving and critical thinking skills while introducing concepts and vocabulary in engineering and architecture. Campers work individually, in teams, and as a group on various projects, fostering creative expression, inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence. The projects are rotated seasonally, ensuring new challenges for returning students and encouraging continuous exploration of engineering applications through inspecting, testing, modifying, and rebuilding their creations.
Campers typically work on two different engineering and architectural projects per day, starting with an introduction and presentation by the instructor, followed by a design and building assignment using thousands of LEGO® parts.
The ideal student is one who enjoys hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and exploring how things work through building with LEGO® bricks.

Denver STEM Summer Camps is a free directory service that aggregates publicly available information about STEM programs, summer camps, and educational opportunities. We do not operate, sponsor, endorse, accredit, certify, or have any affiliation with the camps and programs listed here unless explicitly stated.
All program details — including pricing, session dates, instructor credentials, curriculum, safety policies, refund terms, transportation, meal arrangements, and admission requirements — are sourced from publicly available information and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Listings are partially generated and updated using automated AI-assisted research, which can occasionally produce inaccurate details. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for independently verifying every detail directly with the camp before enrolling, paying, or relying on any information shown here.
